Welcome to Rednesday, Y'all! Did you also notice that it is our 100th post? Sister and I will be putting together a giveaway soon so keep your eyes peeled for it. Now, onto the reds!
Let's start out by checking out a picture of two of my favorite things....Jadeite & fresh raspberries!
A few days ago, I went to a sale and picked up these sweet little cookbooks.
Something looked familiar to me on the front cover of Cooking For The Crowd
I knew I had seen those Hazel Atlas striped tumblers before! I picked these up a couple of weeks ago and have been waiting to share them on Rednesday.
At the same sale, I got this case of The Pop Shoppe soda bottles. Not sure exactly what I am going to do with them but I figured that some of them will work their way into my Valentine's Day & 4th of July decorations.
I stopped at the strangest little yard sale the other morning. The majority of it was tools and other guy stuff but from my car I spotted a lone table with some linens on it. I couldn't talk the lady down on her price for each of these ($3 each? Gasp!). But I knew that I was getting a pretty good deal. Have you seen the prices of vintage tablecloths in the antique stores? CRAZY! These all had some stains but no holes. I was able to get them clean and can't wait to use the Mexican themed one. Maybe I need to have an end of summer fiesta?
That's all for now. I need to get my butt on the elliptical just in case I decide to do my little fiesta I can actually enjoy it!
Be sure to head over to It's A Very Cherry World for Rednesday! I will be linking up over there and checking out all the other reds too.
Until next time.....
Erica
Love the vintage tablecloths. They remind me of one my Mom had when I was growing up and she would take it with us when we would go to the mountains on picnics. Sweet memory!!! HOPE you have a great day!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this post Erica! So many cute things. The Pop Shoppe! How cute are those? I've mentioned before that I have a passion for raspberries. The second I eat one I'm flooded with memories of picking them with my little grandma up at the cabin. I don't own a single piece of jadite though! It's on my wish list. The tableclothes were still such a good deal at $3 each.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week!
Erica :)
Great post filled with many useful reds.
ReplyDeleteI loved going to the Pop Shoppe with Dad to get our case - I liked it all but black cherry was his fave!! I still see it around at random stores but it's just not like it used to be!!
ReplyDeleteLove the striped tumblers!! Perfect for Rednesday!
Raspberries are my favorite fruit!
ReplyDelete$3.00 a piece for the table cloths was a good deal!

I love all your wonderful finds! That was a bargain for the table cloths!
ReplyDeleteI went to a flea market yesterday where every decent vintage tablecloth was priced at 18-21.00 each! I would have kissed that woman on the forehead for 3.00 each!
