Vintage Christmas Score

Clear back in May, Sister and I headed to a sale that promised lots of vintage Christmas. The ad was correct....there was TONS of it!  None of it was priced and most of it was still in boxes so I offered $20 for the whole shebang.  The guy was doing the sale for his mother who had recently passed away and was happy to not only take 20 bucks to get rid of it all but he also helped us load it into the car.

Well, Maddie and I finally went though it all this weekend.  I know, I know.  I can be a major procrastinator.  But believe me, it was worth the wait. I am going to have to break everything up into a few separate posts otherwise we will all suffer from major Christmas overload.

"The Haul"

I found all of this mercury glass garland in a crumpled paper bag.  There is even a pink strand!
All of these multi-colored strands were in the box too.
And even more mercury glass garland.  The crazy thing is that there is even more to show you but I will save it for another post.
The guy told us that his mom was quite the little crafter.  I didn't find any of her completed toothpick trees but I did come across lots of supplies to make my own!
There were 4 boxes of these crazy Mad Men inspired foil reflector ornaments.  They are cute but I wish they were more pastel colored.
I have picked up several of these Santa mugs throughout the year. I already have the pitcher and a bunch of the super tiny mugs. It will be fun to see them all together.  I was happy to find one in one of the boxes from the sale.

Okie Doke, that's it for now.  Stay tuned for more of what I found in this haul.

Linking up at A Living Space & Sir Thrift-A-Lot's.

Until Next Time...
