After watching her dad and I do projects all Summer, Maddie decided she was ready to try one out on her own.
She found this cute metal lap tray at a benefit garage sale down the road from our house. It was only a quarter. How in the world are people supposed to raise money when they charge such low prices? My husband gave them a dollar. What a guy.
Here she is spray painting it with Krylon's Blue Ocean Breeze. Of course, I totally forgot to take a photo of her doing the first step of priming the tray.
After about 3 layers of spray paint, we added a cute vintage flamingo decal that I purchased from Magpie Ethel's E is for Ethel etsy shop. Now she has the perfect place to do her bead and button projects.
I think I have created a project monster!
Until next time...
