There were lots of sales listed for this weekend, but only one sounded remotely promising. No pictures in the ad but tons of great descriptive words like Vintage Kitchen, Vintage Linens, Lots of Collectibles. Well, those words are all music to my ears so I took the chance and ended up getting there two hours before it started and got #15 on the list.
There was actually a pretty good amount of Pyrex at this sale and it was priced really, really well. The majority of it was from the Primary sets though. There must have been 5 full sets of refrigerator dishes with the old style lids. But I left those behind and only got the lime green loaf pan and the 401 Horizon Blue mixing bowl.
The Jadeite shaker was the first thing I grabbed. Out of the garage! The white shakers were found on my third walk-thru. They were priced at $6 for the set so I'm not sure why somebody else didn't grab them first. Lucky me!
A handful of smalls. There were tons of flower frogs at this sale but I didn't let myself get too crazy. A new to me box of vintage birthday candles for my collection as well as the two cutest German Shepherd dog figurines. These were my favorite finds of the whole sale!
I have a small collection of gingham covered books that I display in our guest room. This book of poetry will be added to the stack. The Arizona cook book is so awesome! It's full of recipes that Brian's family made while he was growing up in Arizona. We're trying to figure out what to make first. I'm leaning toward Sopapillas.
It's hard to tell in this picture, but those are the cutest pink baby ducks on the sweetest handmade baby quilt.
A small stack of vintage sheets and pillow cases but enough to make me happy!
Later on this week, my BFF Rachel and I are headed up to Junk Bonanza. Hope to have lots of good things to show you when we get back!
Happy Sunday!
Erica
