I Almost Forgot!

Happy Sunday!

As I was going through and making some minor changes to our little neglected blog, I realized that I still haven't shown you guys the last of my Farm Chicks finds!  I am so behind on blogging.  I even contemplated taking a break from it but I just can't bring myself to do it.  Hanna and I have made so many awesome friends in Blog Land and it's been so much fun sharing all of our finds with you and reading your awesome feedback and comments.  So I plan on sticking around.  And Sister will be back too once she gets back into the groove.  Right now she is a little bit preoccupied with the most beautiful baby girl I've seen since Maddie.  Bear with me while I play a really long game of catch up.  And thank you so much for all hanging in there.  You guys are the best!!

I dug this incredible cowboy printed blanket out of the massive linen pile.

Feedsacks that I have no idea what I am going to do with but there was not a chance I was leaving them behind.  I worked hard digging these out!

Since Brian was along with me on this trip, we tended to bring home larger, more mantique style pieces.  Like this old light up top to an ice machine.

There were tons of these giant letters at the Farm Chicks show but they were super spendy.  We actually found this one at an antique store in Spokane for a third of what they were going for at the show!  I've wanted an R for our living room forever.  This one is HUGE!

Not one to pass up an old cooler, especially in red!  This came in handy when we stopped at a giant farm stand on the way home.

More fun junk for decorating the patio and porch.

This old metal sign used to say Barn but only had half the N left so Brian customized it to make it more fitting for our house.

Farm Chicks was the perfect way to spend my birthday weekend.  Brian was a real trooper but I think that next year it will go back to being a girls trip!

Until next time...

~Erica

  1. Brian was indeed a trooper. Extra props for making your birthday trip special. That BAR sign seems especially fitting for your house!

  2. Love it ALL, but that Pepsi bucket/drum thing is my favorite! Wow!
I can't seem to get back to my blog either. I'm feeling really guilty about it, so need to make up my mind and commit one way or the other.
    Great farm chick finds!

  3. Love your feed sacks and oh how I love the Farm Chicks linen pile!
My friend Laurie is putting on a small show here this year. We both love Farm Chicks we're hoping for a smaller show with a "Mayberry" feel to it. :)

  5. Another neglectful blogger here! Really, yard sales have been terrible and there's just not much to write about Add daily Facebook updates and IG sales and where does the time come from? I do admit it's nice to see an old favorite though! Congratulations on the family addition!

  6. I feel the same way about my blog - looking through your comments, it seems most everyone feels the same.

  7. I know exactly what you mean about being too busy to post, contemplating giving it up, but not wanting to because of wonderful blog friends! I'm in the same predicament myself. I LOVE the giant R!! I've been looking for a giant T for my house. The feedsacks are awesome!! Don't pressure yourself to keep up on the blog too much, it and all of your blog friends will still be there when you have time to share! Hugs!
