Happy Tuesday!
This time of year, I tend to buy a bit more online and in the antique malls than I normally would. I have a vintage itch that I just have got to scratch. Don't judge me! But seriously, the thought of having dig through so much junk at the thrifts in order to maybe find a single treasure coupled with the major lack of sales due to the season, makes me a little desperate. Now, don't go thinking I'm mortgaging the house and making Alex drop out of college in order to fund the necessary purchases. Oh no, I'm still a savvy little thrifer, even when I'm not actually thrifting.
A wonderful IG friend gave me the opportunity to purchase some of her amazing Pyrex Strategic Air Command plates. Aqua and stars? No way could I pass these up.
Do you guys know how long I have coveted this sweet tin? I'm so happy I didn't give in to the full retail prices in the antique malls during the holidays. After Christmas I got it for 50% off!
I did actually find something at the thrift recently. While on the hunt for a dresser, I took a quick peek in the holiday stuff and found the bunny candy container. The recipe box is full of handwritten recipes. I will never understand how someone can just donate such an amazing family heirloom.
I'm not one to pass up a vintage cake carrier that I didn't already have, even if I'm running out of room to display them! I love cover of this BH & G cookbook and was happy to add it to my collection. I really need to come up with a good way to display my cookbooks. They are so colorful!
My Snowflake collection is getting closer to completion. I found the 043 at my favorite local antique mall the last time Hanna was visiting.
One more bowl to go and I will have the Fire King Rainbow Swirl set completed. It will probably be the hardest one to find!
One of the things on my wish list for 2015 was a new shelf to display my vintage tablecloths.
It always feels so good to check things off of my wish list!
Linking up over at Sir Thrift-A-Lot. It's been a while!
Have an awesome week~

Hi There!
Well, like most of my other New Year's Resolutions, I have failed the one where I said I was going to blog more. I am not going to make any excuses. Nope, it's just life. I'm sure you can all attest to that! But even though this chaos may be hindering my blogging abilities, it hasn't slowed me down too much from bringing home some good junk!
I am totally blaming Sarah from Makin' Projiks for my new quilt obsession. This twin sized feedsack quilt was in perfect condition. No mending or cleaning required! Plus the price was in my range so off the antique mall bed and into my car it went (after I paid of course).
I wish I could have found more of the Hazel Atlas glasses in the thrift! But I'm happy with the one I found, especially since I didn't already have it in my collection. The bunnies and donkey napkin were from a local antique mall.
Another thrifted glass that I didn't have.
Bought these as a pair but only wanted the pink for my collection. I guess Alex will get a vintage Bakelite meat fork for his apartment :-)
Some lucky finds on the Pyrex front too! It is super rare for me to find something that I don't already have in a pattern that I collect so I was thrilled to find the Horizon Blue 045 with it's lid. The aqua 401 was found at the same thrift I have found several other pieces of aqua at over the years.
I found another juice glass to go with my Hazel Atlas star carafe. Wonder how long it will take me to find the full set?
And will you look at this! Those of you who read Kim's blog, Bargain Hunting Treasure Seeker, may recognize this amazing vintage Arizona souvenir tablecloth. After commenting how I needed to find one of my own since Brian is from Arizona, she so sweetly sent me hers! Thanks so much Kim! It is definitely my favorite in my whole tablecloth collection. I mean, it has cowboys and cowboy boots on it! What's not to love?
And speaking of Arizona, the U of A basketball game is getting ready to start so I gotta go! Hope you all are having a good week and that you are finding lots of treasures of your own.

Fun Stuff!
Happy Monday!
With life finally somewhat back to normal after the madness of the holidays, I have had a little bit of time to hunt around town to see if there is anything that I have to have. Luckily I haven't been disappointed!
First and foremost, check out what Hanna bought me for Christmas! Since my Hazel Atlas pink elephant set is getting close to completion, she has started me the pink pig collection!
An amazingly perfect Wilendur tablecloth and vintage towel were my reward for going into a thrift that I have zero luck at every time I go!
On my way home from the flea market yesterday, I decided to stop at the same store and found even more pretty linens.
And speaking of the flea market...
I found this gorgeous and almost perfect Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. It just needs to be washed and layed out to dry. It will be a while until the weather is nice enough for that!
I've seen this Fire King bowl a lot in my junk hunting days but have managed to hold off on paying the high prices I've seen it marked at. My reward? $5 at the flea market!
I bought a grab bag of vintage Valentine's just to get the cute cowboy one.
I couldn't pass up this sweet box for my display.
The bonus was that it was full of all of these unused cards. Look! Another cowboy one!
