I've been on a junk high these past few weeks. With the local flea markets in full swing, some trips to some new to me antique shops, as well as a trip up to Junk Bonanza, I've been finding some good quality junk! Hopefully all these treasures can hold me over for a while because during the fast approaching holidays, things tend to get a little crazy for me and I can't hunt as much as I'd like to.
I can't believe I forgot to show this to you in my last post. It was my favorite flea market find of the weekend! This is the most awesome sign and I can't wait to hang it in my kitchen!
Vintage king sheets in bright and happy colors always find their way to my house!
I have a serious blanket addiction. Especially when they are pink and perfect.
If I was an expert on quilts (which I most definitely am not), I would have to say that this beauty was created then never used. It is in MINT condition.
I couldn't resist the beauty either.
Especially when I saw the backing!
I told you I had a blanket addiction! Ignore the weird glare on the edge.
Some sweet unused activity books with the cutest graphics ever.
Two fun Alan Jay squeaks that I am going to hang up somewhere.
I have some of these Lustroware refrigerator containers in red and yellow and was super happy to find some in pink!
Who can resist a squeaky frog wearing a cowboy hat? Not me!
I picked these sweet celluloid toys up in the hopes that my lead paint paranoid sister would let Miss Norah play with them. No dice.
I totally broke Hanna's rule of not buying any Hazel Atlas pink elephants because she likes to get them for me. But when you find them for $3, you HAVE to buy them! Sorry, sister.
LOVE old kitchen jars! I can always find a use for them.
I have a couple of the star glasses in the smaller Swanky Swig size so I was happy to find a larger one. It goes perfect with the souvenir Washington glass I found the same day.
The sweetest lady ever who I follow on Instagram gave me these Dixie Cups in the original box at Junk Bonanza. Thank you so much Kristin from Fresh Baked Vintage!
And now, for possibly my favorite find of the year...
Welcome Home Pyrex Diamonds! I've been coveting you forever and finally found you at a price I could afford. Eeeeeeeeeek!!! I'm so excited!
Headed to Astoria this weekend to visit my crazy little niece Norah. I can't wait! She is growing so fast and has got the funniest personality. If you don't believe me, just follow Hanna and I on Instagram. She has taken over our feeds :-)
Heading over to link up with Jann for SYC Thursday, From My Front Porch to Yours for Treasure Hunt Thursday, and Bella Rosa Antiques for Let's Talk Vintage.
Until next time...
Erica

Another Good Day At The Flea...
Hi Everyone!
I'm a week behind on my flea market finds post. Last week, Alex moved back up to Corvallis for his second year of college. That made for two days of my life totally devoted to helping him get settled in. It's a good thing he's only 45 minutes away! Then on Thursday, Hanna and I along with our husbands headed to Vegas for a long weekend. We will just let you all imagine what went on there!
Anyways, on to the good junk...
It was a good day for (cheap!) vintage tablecloths. I may even see a Wilendur in these pics!
A sweet family of deer in a grab bag found their way home with me.
This wafer tin is a duplicate for me so off to my Etsy shop it will go!
I'm happy to still be finding Pyrex at the flea market at actual flea market prices.
And in the category of Quirkiest Flea Market Finds, I bring you this pink and aqua humidifier in the original box. The seller told me it still works too!
Not a lot but enough to make my early morning trek worth it!
Have a great week!

Estate Sale Friday...
There were lots of sales listed for this weekend, but only one sounded remotely promising. No pictures in the ad but tons of great descriptive words like Vintage Kitchen, Vintage Linens, Lots of Collectibles. Well, those words are all music to my ears so I took the chance and ended up getting there two hours before it started and got #15 on the list.
There was actually a pretty good amount of Pyrex at this sale and it was priced really, really well. The majority of it was from the Primary sets though. There must have been 5 full sets of refrigerator dishes with the old style lids. But I left those behind and only got the lime green loaf pan and the 401 Horizon Blue mixing bowl.
The Jadeite shaker was the first thing I grabbed. Out of the garage! The white shakers were found on my third walk-thru. They were priced at $6 for the set so I'm not sure why somebody else didn't grab them first. Lucky me!
A handful of smalls. There were tons of flower frogs at this sale but I didn't let myself get too crazy. A new to me box of vintage birthday candles for my collection as well as the two cutest German Shepherd dog figurines. These were my favorite finds of the whole sale!
I have a small collection of gingham covered books that I display in our guest room. This book of poetry will be added to the stack. The Arizona cook book is so awesome! It's full of recipes that Brian's family made while he was growing up in Arizona. We're trying to figure out what to make first. I'm leaning toward Sopapillas.
It's hard to tell in this picture, but those are the cutest pink baby ducks on the sweetest handmade baby quilt.
A small stack of vintage sheets and pillow cases but enough to make me happy!
Later on this week, my BFF Rachel and I are headed up to Junk Bonanza. Hope to have lots of good things to show you when we get back!
Happy Sunday!
