No More Estate Sales

Such a sad title, huh?  The estate sale season is officially over. I haven't been to one in forever but that's okay because the last one that I went to is sure to hold me over until the next one comes along.

Care to see what I found?

Lots of pretty indent ornaments.  Just what I needed!
I'm not really sure if these are old or not but at 50 cents for the bag, I was willing to take a gamble.
Me pass up Shiny Brites in the original boxes?  NEVER!
All of these ornaments were in a crumpled up paper sack in the garage.  Note to self: Always check the garage!
These bells were all mixed in with the craft supplies.  See that pink one in the back?  It is definitely my favorite and it made it's way onto my ornament wreath.
I love to find these deer and someday plan to dress them up Magpie Ethel style.  The little pixie candle holder is marked Japan so of course I had to have it.

I am so in love with the little choir boy and angel in the top photo.  I need to find just the right spot for them.  The little Poinsettia and candles are actually gift tags.  Who in their right mind would damage these with To and From?!

I am almost positive that I have enough tiny ornaments and boxes for any crafty Christmas project that Miss Maddie or Sister decides we need to do.

So what do you all think?  Would this be enough vintage goodness to hold you over until that next great sale?

See you all there!

  4. OMG. So lucky. So jealous of the bulbs. I love the deer & the elf candle holder. And I'm not sure if it would be enough to hold me over.. But then again, I have only ever been to 2 estate sales & that's been late, late in the afternoon. I can't believe the Christmas stuff you go this year, sooo much! Lucky!

  5. More jealousy here. What an *amazing* haul!!

I almost always go to the garage first since a lot of times that's where the good stuff is stored when out of season. As you know ... I'm still jealous. :-)

  8. So this is in addition to the "Great X-mas Haul of 2012"?
You Lucky Girl! Can you believe that I only went to THREE Estate Sales this year? Granted, I couldn't walk for a few months lol, but is that restraint or what?
Next season it's game on for me! And I think you are to blame for that! You always get such good things!!!

  9. I think that should tide you over for at least a little while! I don't know why Christmas ornaments end up in the garage so many times, but it's a great place to look!

  10. That would hold me over for years! Did you practically skip out of the sale, humming "I am the champion!"?

  12. I just relayed the same thoughts to my husband. No more estate sales until spring. What will I do? What a terrific find! Don't come across those very often! Congrats!!

  14. What? Estate sale season is over? It goes year round here, thank goodness, because flea market and garage sale season is over and done with here.

Oh my goodness, that is alot of vintage Christmas goodness! But come on, who are we kidding? NO, that wouldn't be enough to hold me over, because I LOVE the thrill of the hunt!

  15. Hi Erica! I am so glad you stopped by for a visit. I am your newest follower. Wow, you hit the jackpot! I wish I could go to some of those sales that Magpie Ethel goes to. I told her I was going to stalk her to see where she goes lol I live in NJ, so I couldn't. I love those little mini balls in the box. I actually had them when I was 12, and made a Xmas tree from a Readers digest book, and hand sewed each one of them to the tree. I guess I threw it away. If I only knew then, that this stuff would be so hot today. You girls are so pretty!

    Have a Merry Christmas!
