Hi There!
Last weekend, I was up bright and early on Sunday morning to get in during the early bird hours at the flea market. You pay a little more of an entrance fee and you are literally buying things out of the boxes that the vendors are unpacking but it is totally worth it. I have found some pretty good stuff that I am almost positive wouldn't have been there had I waited until the general admission hours.
I picked up the turquoise Hazel Atlas mug and the Snoopy mug out of one booth. I grabbed Snoopy right out of the lady's hand as she was putting it on the table. Now this one isn't as phenomenal as Sister's Snoopy mug find, but it's Snoopy nonetheless.
I also got this donkey Christmas card from the same lady. What is it with me and donkey's?
I picked up this Inarco bunny planter to work into my Easter decor.
How cute are these vintage valentines? Why oh why can't they make them like this anymore? If they mass produced this cuteness, I wouldn't feel so bad about writing on the back and handing them out. So what if I'm 36? But these truly perfect vintage cards have survived since the 1940's so you can bet I will be holding on to them. Give them away? Crazy thoughts!!
All of my treasures are sitting on this perfect little luncheon cloth. It's been awhile since I have found any vintage linens so I was happy to find this one.
Yep, I'm still picking up vintage ornaments when I find them. Old habits die hard.
So, Sister........guess where we will be headed on Sunday morning before you leave town? We may have to limit our champagne consumption on Saturday during our Valentine's Box Crafting Party! Or maybe not!!
Linking up with Sue for Rednesday at It's A Very Cherry World. See you all there!
Until next time...

Love those mugs. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteLove the vintage valentines day cards, today's one stink!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute things! We don't have flea markets here during the winter. They're just open from May to September. Same with garage sales, but there might be a random estate sale if we are lucky!
ReplyDeleteYou are super lucky to get to go to the flea market right now!
** I bring my vintage valentines to my local printer and she prints them up nice and brite on medium weight card stock. They turn out great, and it's super cheap!
Fun finds. Wow, ur sister's mug! for me it is bunnies! lol
ReplyDeleteLove the vintage valentines. The Hazel Atlas mug is great too. Nice finds!
ReplyDeleteI love Snoopy! I think you need to show us where you store all your Xmas goodies, heehee!
ReplyDeleteDon`t limit the champagne drinking!
ReplyDelete& love it all. I`ve never found vintage Valentines that weren`t priced at antique shop prices - $2-$3 each or something. I`d love to find a vintage lot! It would be killer.
You are so, so lucky to have a flea market to head for on Saturday!! I NEED some Valentines, I just might bite the bullet and bid online!!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I so wish we had a flea market around here! ♥
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that your flea offers early bird hours. Ours doesn't. Love all the different holiday decorations! And I can't wait to see how your candy boxes turn out! Next year I'm getting in on the fun! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the Snoopy mug. And the valentines too!
ReplyDeleteHi! Just found your blog. I love collecting too - especially Pyrex. I also love vintage valentines. I agree - why don't they make them like that anymore. Thanks for sharing your finds & collections. Check out my blog too.
