But don't think it's going to stop me from collecting vintage treasures! I have decided that it's okay to not display EVERY SINGLE THING at the same time. It's much more fun to put things into rotation. That way, it's like you are always getting something "new", even if you shopped it out of your own storage closet.
These are all of the Taylor Smith & Taylor Ever After dishes that I thrifted last week. Not a bad haul and I got all of them for $8.00. Needless to say, I haven't found anymore since.
{So sorry for the quality of some of these photos. Here in Oregon, we are experiencing record breaking rain and gloominess.}
I grabbed these three napkin holders from Goodwill hoping that Rattlecan Randy could get spray paint to stick to one of them.
Here is the first attempt. I think it turned out perfect, don't you? I have been searching for a cute napkin holder for a while and actually found a plastic ware teapot shaped one in an antique mall recently. It was $55.00!! I actually like my $1.00 one way better.
I found these delphite blue square tea cups at the flea market a while back. Last weekend, Miss Maddy and I went to a really small antique fair and I found the matching saucers for 50 cents apiece. I didn't think that things sold for that cheaply at antique fairs!
Just some more random things that I picked up here and there. The cute little deer is actually an orphaned shaker. Sister bought her at Goodwill the last time we thrifted together. She is such a show off! She really likes to shake her tail and have a good time. We named her Deer Gloria after my grandmother.
{Note to Sister: Do you see that fabric in the background? I got it at an estate sale last weekend. Next time you come to visit, bring your sewing machine because I need you to make it into a table runner for me!}
See you all next time if I don't float away by then!
Great job on the napkin holder - that is so cute!
