A Donkey Kind of Day

On the last Friday that the kids didn't have school, Maddy and I headed out early to hit some sales.  At the first stop, I absolutely fell in love with this little guy

I wandered around the sale and kept coming back to him.  I knew I had to take him home with me.  My husband, who is from Arizona, says that everyone has these in their yards.  The good news is that he is not made of wood so my dogs can't chew him up!

A couple of stops later, we stumbled across this adorable little made in Japan planter.  He looked lonely sitting on the table by himself so I had to bring him home with me too.

At one of the last stops of the day, I bought a big Rubbermaid container full of cute tins and bread boxes (more on the rest of those next time).  Imagine my surprise when I found this breadbox  in the container.
